This Earth Month, we’re celebrating the hands that cultivate, protect, and nourish our planet…the hands of small-scale farmers! You can’t truly celebrate the Earth without honoring the stewards who nurture the land and feed the world. Small-scale farmers are on the frontlines of climate resilience, food sovereignty, and reforestation, using sustainable agroforestry practices that help restore ecosystems and reverse climate change.
Yet despite their essential role in protecting our planet, these farmers are also the most heavily affected by climate change, an injustice largely driven by the actions of the world’s biggest polluters. By taking action with Grow Ahead, you can lend a hand to those restoring the land, growing food sustainably, and fighting for a healthier planet for all of us.

Thanks to supporters like you, we planted over 100,000 trees for farmers, families, and communities worldwide in 2024. This Earth Month, we're continuing our work with farming partners in Ivory Coast and Honduras to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and nourish families. We hope you’ll join us.
3 Ways to Make an Impact
1. Donate
The quickest and most impactful way to make a difference is to donate directly to Grow Ahead’s current agroforestry projects. 96.75% of your donation makes its way to projects in the form of installation of nurseries, purchase of seedlings, creation of community education programs and so much more. At just $1.49 per tree on average (this cost can be even lower depending on the project), even a few dollars make a difference.
Grow Ahead is also piloting our first ever “$5 Fridays.” Throughout the month of April and beyond, we encourage you to make a $5 donation each Friday. For around the price of one cup of coffee per week, you can plant trees in a sustainable ecosystem that is helping reverse climate change while feeding families.
2. Donate
